No club tonight 02/05/11
Due to a heating failure at Kingsmead Swimming pool, we have taken the decision to cancel the club for the safety reasons due to the already low water and air temperatures in the pool.
We will of course attempt to contact everyone to let them know. Please accept our apologies for this, and we should be back to normal next week.

Kent Branch Youth Development Day
On the 22nd of April, the RLSS Kent Branch will be running a Youth Development Day. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet people from other lifesaving clubs and develop your skills. We would like to encourage anyone that is interested in taking part to have a look at the fly. Depending on the numbers we might also be able to help out with transport to and from the event.
For more information about the day contact seryouth@hotmail.co.uk, or speak to either Dain or Keith at club.

Boxing Day Madness
Today some members of the club, friends and family members showed just how mad they were when they took to the open water for Boxing Day dip in the sea at Kingsdown beach. First here is a picture of the everyone before they threw themselves into the ice cold waters, all happy and smiling:

And now a picture of everyone after they pulled themselves from the cold water, all still smiling.
