Just a quick message to say thank you to all the members of the club that came along and helped out with the Canterbury Duck Race. As always the sunny weather brought out plenty of people that laughed and watched as the river was flooded by the plastic ducks, followed by two rather wet looking club members. The Rotary club, who organize this yearly event, would especially like to thank everyone that came along.
Just a quick picture of everyone. When the rest of the images are in, we’ll update the galleries for you all.
It’s that time of year again for the Canterbury Rotary club to hold their annual duck race. As usual the East Kent School of Life Saving will be helping out on Saturday, making sure all the ducks arrive safely at the finish line. With the weather forecast for a sunny day, it should be a fun distraction for all the family. We look forward to see you there.
If you’re helping out then met at 10:30 at the Tower House in the westgate gardens. For those family and friends just coming along to watch the event then the ducks will be launched at 11 o’clock from Toddler’s Cover.
Congratulations go to Louise, who was awarded the Tammy Little Shield. All of the members of the club would also like to wish her all the best for her start at University in September, and have a fun time travelling over the summer.
